CIRRUS - not easy to catch because it plays high in the wind. This cloud forms above 6 km above the ground (where airplanes fly). That's why it consists only of ice crystals and sometimes forms from airplane trails. It resembles spider threads, feathers, hairs, tufts. If it appears quickly or changes, it heralds worsening weather or cooling. Sometimes it glides slowly from east to west - and then the weather is nice.
